Hundreds of games played on GOG, Steam, and Origin over time and never encountered this problem before although I know others occasionally do with some games from seeing other people's reports here and there. Oddly enough I had a different but similar issue with the 2 Commandos games which comprise the Commandos Ammo Pack which caused a 'DIRECTX 5 NOT FOUND' error which completely went away simply by disabling multi-head. The problem occurred with any combination of multihead chosen, and went away every time single-head was configured. As soon as I disabled multi-head and launched the game, the graphics displayed fine and the game works. I've heard of people having some issues with the odd game but I'd never encountered any problems with it myself until now. I have 4 displays hooked up to my video card, of which 2 or 3 are normally enabled and I've never encountered any problems with hundreds of games on GOG or Steam before the last few days while multi-head was active. Could not find any solutions on GOG nor Steam forums nor via Google. I tried a variety of things and was completely unable to get the game to display any graphics at all. Problem: After launching the game, it started up for me ok and the splash screen audio and cut-scene audio played through my speakers no problem up to the game's menu where it just sat there while the entire time the screen was completely black from launch.
